CERATONIA HOMES VIDEO
The story of the Ceratonia Homes brand
A life as precious as precious stones
Ceratonia (carob) seeds have been used as a measure of weight since the 11th century B.C.
No matter how much its seeds are exposed, it never loses its weight.
Just because of this feature, jewelers used carob seeds as a weight measure of precious stone such as emeralds, rubies, sapphires and diamonds, each of which is 0.2 g and today corresponds to 1 carot.
The word carot comes from Greek (Keration) and Latin (Ceratonia).
Even today, carob in Cyprus still has a great commercial importance both commercially and as food. At the same time, carob fruit is very beneficial for human health.
We were inspired by precious stones for our project, which we have done in the region where this precious tree and its fruits are abundant, where both nature and luxury are together.
In fact, isn't one's own home also a precious stone?
So what is your precious stone?
